Ingredients

  • 120 ml Salted butter
  • 20 ml Vegetable oil
  • 2 Eggs
  • 160 grams All purpose flour
  • 160 grams castor sugar
  • 80 ml Orange juice
  • ½ teaspoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoon Orange essence
  • 2 table spoon Sweet orange peel
  • 1 tablespoon Cornflour
  • 120 grams Mix dried fruits (pineapple, kiwi, mango, guava, cranberry, strawberry, and apricot)
  • Few drops of orange colour

I Love fruits and so does my Daughter, she likes all vibrant colors and so does my reciepe is having the Fruits in so many colours. I dedicate this cake to my daughter Mihishka.

Recipe Detail


Method

  1. Take a glass bowl and mix together butter and sugar. Whisk till they are fluffy. Now, add egg yolk and beat till light and fluffy.
  2. Sift the flour and baking powder, baking soda, cornflour together.
  3. Beat egg white till light and fluffy.
  4. Mix dry ingredient and egg white to butter mixture and mix well so that no lumps are formed.
  5. Now add orange juice, orange essence, orange peel, and few drops of orange colour.
  6. Transfer this cake mixture to a cake tin lined with butter paper. Place the tin in a preheated oven at 180C for 30-35 minutes or till a skewer comes out clean.

Serve fresh with hot milk and let the kids enjoy the fruits.
